| Resumen: | El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “EFECTIVIDAD DE UNA INTERVENCION EDUCATIVA SOBRE EL NIVEL DE CONOCIMIENTOS DEL CUIDADO DEL NIÑO MENOR DE 1 AÑO EN MADRES ADOLESCENTES EN EL C.M. OLLANTAY - 2013," tiene como objetivos determinar la efectividad de una intervención educativa sobre el nivel de conocimientos del cuidado del niño menor de 1 año en madres adolescentes en el C.M.I Ollantay - 2013 e identificar el nivel de conocimientos que tienen las madres adolescentes sobre el cuidado del niño menor de un año antes y después de la intervención educativa. El estudio es de nivel aplicativo, tipo cuantitativo y método cuasi-experimental de un solo diseño. La población estuvo conformada por 35 madres que asistieron al servicio de crecimiento y desarrollo (CRED) y ESNI por día. La muestra de estudio se obtuvo por el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia; la muestra fue de 20 madres y la mayoría de ellas fueron jóvenes de 15 a 19 años de edad. El procesamiento y análisis se realizó de forma manual y estadísticamente en dos niveles: descriptiva y analítica en la versión del SPSS 15.0. Los resultados obtenidos fueron de 100 por ciento (20) de madres adolescentes; antes de aplicar la intervención educativa 70 por ciento (14) madres adolescentes presentaron nivel de conocimientos bajo, 20 por ciento (4) nivel medio y un 10 por ciento (2) presentó nivel alto. Mientras que después de aplicar la sesión educativa, el nivel de conocimiento alto crece significativamente en un 90 por ciento (18), el nivel medio es 10 por ciento (2) y 0 por ciento (0) de nivel bajo. Por lo que se concluye que se acepta la hipótesis de estudio: Es efectiva la intervención educativa sobre el cuidado del niño menor de 1 año en madres adolescentes cuando su nivel de conocimientos se incrementa. OLLANTAY - 2013", aims to determine the effectiveness of an educational intervention on the level knowledge of child care under 1 year of teenage mothers in the C.M.I OLLANTAY - 2013 and identify the level of knowledge they have teenage mothers on the care of children under one year before and after the educational intervention. The study is level application, quantitative and quasi-experimental method of a single design. The population consisted of 35 mothers who attended the service of growth and development (CRED) and ESNI per day. The study sample was obtained by the non-probability convenience sampling, the sample was 20 mothers and most of them were aged 15 to 19 years old. The processing and analysis was performed manually and statistically at two levels: descriptive and analytic in SPSS version 15.0. The results were 100 per cent (20) of teenage mothers before applying educational intervention 70 per cent (14) adolescent mothers had low knowledge level, 20 per cent (4) medium level and 10 per cent (2) present high level. While after applying the learning session, the percentage grows significantly high level at 90 per cent (18), the average level is 10 per cent (2) and 0 per cent (0) low level. It is concluded that the study hypothesis is accepted: It is effective educational intervention on the care of children less than 1 year in teenage mothers when their skill level increases. (AU)^ien.
